Tips On How To Organize Bathroom Vanity Drawers and Under-sink Area!

Spring Is here and It’s time to declutter, organize and give your bathroom a fresh new look!

Organizing your bathroom vanity drawers and the under-sink area is a great way to start spring cleaning.

One of the most overlooked areas in a bathroom is the vanity drawers and under-sink space. If you’re tired of rummaging through a cluttered mess every morning, it might be time to get organized and transform your bathroom into a spring haven that will woo your guests and make your lives easier.

Organizing your vanity drawers can be a tough job. But with a little effort and planning, you can transform a chaotic space into a well-organized and functional space. In this blog post, I’ll be sharing tips and ideas to help you get started on organizing your vanity drawers and under-sink areas.

Here are some tips and ideas to help you get started.

1. Embrace Simplicity – Master the Art of Decluttering

The first step is to declutter and get rid of any expired or unused products. This is essential in those areas where products can pile up quickly.

Take out everything from your vanity drawers and under-sink area and sort them into three categories: keep, toss, donate.

Once you have purged the unnecessary items, it’s time to get organized.

2. Get Organized – Upgrade Your Storage Game

Invest in some drawer organizers to keep your beauty products, skincare, and hair accessories tidy.

You can find various sizes and shapes of organizers that fit your specific needs. These organizers not only help you stay organized, but they also make it easier to find what you need quickly.

Once your drawers are organized, let’s move on to the under-sink area. If you’re like most people, the under-sink area is probably a mess with cleaning supplies and extra toiletries.

To maximize the space, invest in some stackable storage bins or baskets. These containers can be used to store toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and extra towels.

Putting your items in the under-sink can be tricky, especially with the wires. You can work around the wires and use them to create rows of products under the sink. You can also use shelves to avoid stacking items on top of each other.

3. Spring Into Style – Freshen Up Your Bathroom with Blooming Colors

Start by adding some fresh or artificial flowers to your vanity.

Flowers add a pop of color and freshness to any room. You can place a vase of fresh tulips or daisies on your vanity or add some artificial greenery to the space.

Another way to add spring vibes is by using a neutral color palette. Pastel colors like pale blue, lavender or mint green are perfect for creating a relaxing and calming environment.

You can add these colors to your towels, shower curtain, and bath mat. You can also add colorful art or prints to the walls to liven up the space.

4. Shipshape with Stunning Baskets – Keep Your Essentials Close at Hand

Add chic natural fiber baskets or trays to your vanity to store your towels and other essentials. Baskets not only add storage, but they also add texture and interest to the space. You can choose wicker, wire, or fabric baskets to fit your decor style.

5. Keep the Items Accessible

When organizing your vanity drawers and the under-sink area, it’s a good idea to keep items accessible, ranking them in order of necessity or usage. For example, I typically place frequently used items in easy-to-reach areas while the less-frequent ones somewhere in the back. That way, I can conveniently access my daily go-tos without having to dig for them. If sharing this space, labeling or tagging each item can prove very useful.

Impress your guests with your organized and stylish bathroom and enjoy your newly decorated spring oasis of relaxation.

6. Ongoing Maintenance

Organizing your vanity drawer and the under-sink area requires regular maintenance. It’s good practice to set aside a few minutes weekly to refill or return things in their intended location. And when you notice things starting to pile up, it’s your sign to start the organization process all over again.
