Easy Guest Bedroom Refresh!
We’re so excited to have guests again! So with that, we decided to refresh our guest room.
WALL ART
First things first, add a little artwork. Found this farmhouse style wall decor for just under $30 from HomeGoods and fell in love with the message and it’s simplicity.
BEDDING
Up next, and probably most impactful, update the bedding. Bed are the biggest focal points in a bedroom so I knew I had to get it right. This beautiful Bedford 3-Piece Comforter Set from @charismahome has given the room the exact understated and elegant look I desired.
The color is the softest gray with a woven texture and a very subtle white jacquard geometric pattern – It’s absolutely stunning.
I paired it with the Deluxe Woven Blanket, also in gray and from Charisma Home. This lightweight blanket adds additional texture and will be great for summer. Also, love that all the bedding is 100% cotton and machine washable, proving that luxury doesn’t have to require expensive upkeep.
LIGHTING
Another important change was the “boob lighting,” at least that’s how they call it our flush-mount ceiling lighting was grossly outdated. We replaced it with the Savoy House octave ceiling light in English bronze from @lightsonline It’s perfect for this room, light and airy and unassuming — blends in perfectly.
Lights Online also has other beautiful light fixtures. Check out my most recent collaboration with them here!
COZY CORNER
Finally, we added a little greenery (a fiddle plant) to cozy up one corner of the room and added a smaller-scale armchair on the opposite corner.
The vibe of this room is now welcoming with a fresh, clean, neutral look with a lot of texture.
