Memorable Family Fun and Best Spring / Summer Vacation in the SouthEast!

Get some spring splashing fun at Gaylord Opryland, Music City’s Most Extraordinary Resort and Waterpark.

It was time to take a break and create some memorable family fun! We couldn’t wait to head up to Nashville, less than a four-hour drive from Atlanta, to hit the sparkling waterways at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.

Y’all, this resort is just amazing, featuring an extraordinary selection of dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation options. There’s something for the entire family to enjoy: from scavenger hunts (for the kiddos), to a spa treatment (for me) and an indoor/outdoor waterpark (for my hubby who’s a big kid at heart, and of course, the kids).

The kids had so much fun and our eight-year-old son nailed the SoundWaves! This is a can’t miss experience during your stay at the resort. It’s also the city’s premier aquatic attraction and accommodates so many different age groups.

THE GROUNDS ARE REALLY IMPRESSIVE!

Super impressed with the indoor gardens and overall grounds are BEAUTIFUL…and everything is SO CLEAN! The evening lights make everything twinkle like magic.

EASTER SCAVENGER EGG HUNT

With ongoing seasonal events to entertain kids and adults alike, you will never be bored at this Nashville playground.

We learned so much about the hotel, its history and more from our boat tour guide, Mr. Preston. The kids also had a great time “egg hunting” during our boat ride. In the end, the kids were rewarded for their egg-finding efforts with goodies and Junior Explorer badges from Mr. Preston for their participation. And of course, they loved that!

COOKIE DECORATING FUN

Another family-friendly activity we really enjoyed during our stay was Cookie Decorating. The resort set up work stations ready with cookies, decorating edible surprises, sprinkles and frosting!

AND THE FOOD…SO GOOD!

So many wonderful options, and surprisingly affordable ones too, to appeal to a varied palate. We enjoyed breakfast daily at the restaurant overlooking the indoor waterfalls, lunch over at the Delta Atrium (we recommend Paisano Pizza, MarketPlace and grab a sweet treat at Cinnabon and Carvel).

We are already looking forward to returning in May when the outdoor water park will be open!!

This resort is a new favorite for us. I could spend an entire week here and still not have enough time to partake in all it has to offer.
